Additionally, I release Dannielle Hale (and all training sites/centers) of all legal responsibility for personal injury or property damage occurred while attending a course.
Registration Process
No course is considered reserved until registration is complete through our online portal and full payment is received. Students who register for a course through the American Heart Association website will remain moved to “Wait List” status until this step is complete.
Cancellations/Refunds
There will be no refunds issued once the registration process is complete. Students can reschedule for a alternate date within 60 days of the original course date for a $20 processing fee. Rescheduling requests must be made more than 24 hours in advance of a course. Students wishing to reschedule for an instructor course must provide 7 days notice and pay a $100 processing fee.

For any course that requires an online portion, the online portion must be completed before the start time of your course. Failure to complete online portions will result in a forfeit of all course fees.

Attendance
Students should expect to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their course. Late admittance into the course will not be accepted. Students who arrived past the scheduled course time will be not be admitted, and will be required to pay the full course fee to reschedule.
Student eCards
Effective January, 2019, the American Heart Association has switched over to the ecard system as a way for students to obtain their course completion records. Students will have an option to print and/or email a wallet sized card and full size course completion certificate. eCards are generally issued the same day, but may take up to 48 hours. If you have not received the email after 48 hours, students can also attempt to claim their ecard using the following link: https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards.
Red Cross and HSI cards can take up to 72 hours to receive. These cards will also be sent in a digital format. If you do not receive your card, feel free to email me.
All times above are on a standard basis. There can be a delay on issuing them if cards are not available or there is an issue with the software used to issue cards.
If you are taking a renewal course, YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT, UNEXPIRED CPR CARD for whatever organization you are registering for.
If you sign up for a renewal course and do not have a current, unexpired card issued by the training organization you selected, you may lose all course fees paid. As previously stated, no refunds will be issued. In some cases we MAY be able to move you to another class which could cost extra.
Instructor Courses
Anyone who takes an instructor course with us, must remain with us for a period of 1 year to receive the instructor course at the current price. If an instructor leaves within that one year, they will be subjected to a $150 fee for the course.
